Typical slum lord pre-war apartment

Pros

The building is old and about what you would expect in regards to that( perpetually dusty). I have never seen a roach in the building, but have seen mice! Overall, apartment would be fine if not for the leak.

Cons

The super is completely unresponsive and maintenance is a bit sloppy and delayed with their repairs (getting paint everywhere). This is the main issue. The is ceiling leaking badly and maintenance will not come fix it despite reaching out to landlord multiple times. It is hazardous. They also did nothing about the mice. Additionally we are struggling to get any communications related to our security deposit which should have been returned weeks ago.

Advice to the owners

Get a new super and hire qualified people to make repairs
