Review Summary for Fortitude Capital LLC
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant feedback for FORTITUDE CAPITAL LLC-managed buildings underscores significant management shortcomings. Common issues include poor cleanliness with neglected hallways and trash areas, ongoing pest infestations, and inadequate heating maintenance. Residents report extremely slow or absent owner responsiveness and a lack of timely repairs, especially for building safety elements like doors and flooring. While neighbors are generally regarded positively and apartment interiors occasionally receive praise, frustration with management is pervasive. Renters advise the company to prioritize building upkeep, pest control, and more attentive, timely communication to improve tenant satisfaction and overall living conditions across their properties.

Dirty, unresponsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, apartments themselves are nice (mine is renovated) and totally livable.
Cons:
The hallways and stairwells are cleaned 1x/year. The tiles on the floor are broken and hazardous, management does nothing despite multiple requests to fix it. The second door to the entrance is broken (glass smashed in). Management promised to fix it, never did. Super is incredibly unresponsive.
Advice to owner:
Please fix the tiles in the hallway, it's dangerous and so dumb that they are still broken.

looks nice on the outside-not so nice on the inside
Former Tenant
Pros:
Looks nice from the outside-has years worth of rodent infestations
Cons:
Mice in multiple units for over a year- 100 in trash room as well. Management doesn't seem to care nor take any action
Advice to owner:
handle the pest issue

Horrible Management, great neighbors
Former Tenant
Pros:
All the people that live in the building are very kind and caring. The doors are paper thin but people are respectful and quiet.
Cons:
The management is so horrible. The landlord does not care at all about maintaining even the most minimal level of the building. The entrance and halls are mopped with a moldy mop and it smells, the front door has been broken for years and it takes forever to hear from the super if you need something.
Advice to owner:
Have a standard and respect for yourself

Terrible management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighborhood, nice windows, wood floors
Cons:
Management company, package safety, garbage, cleanliness, rip off prices.
Advice to owner:
Change your whole policy. You do not care about your tenants.

Horrific management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartment is fine
Cons:
Management are disgraceful. We’ve been fighting them on basic things like fixing the boiler for years. Management are cheap to the point of it being criminal.
Advice to owner:
Clean up your act. We shouldn’t need to complain as much as we do to get you to fix problems.
