Good building & neighborhood
Pros
Great location, good neighbors, supers are generally responsive.
Cons
Water damage on the ceiling has not been repaired for over a year. Lots of street and school traffic and noise. Would love for there to be more building gatherings. Management company /supers seem to do the bare minimum to maintain the building but don't go above and beyond in making the building nice to live in. Have multiple repair requests for my apartment that haven't been addressed by the landlord in 1 1/2 years.
Advice to the owners
Open Igloos ignores requests for repairs and tries to pass on costs that are not the renter's responsibility in NYC. Follow city laws and take care of the apartment properly. Respond quickly. Have some integrity.
