Really great building all things considered

Pros

- Lived here for 2 years renting from a pleasant condo owner at a great price for a newly renovated unit. The location was perfect for my job. - The doormen here are amazing, attentive and nice. They really go above and beyond. If you live here, get to know them. - Water gets hot very fast. - Very well-insulated and heated. During winter, the passive central heat is warm enough that I rarely need to turn up the fan more. During summer, I often don't need to run the AC but it works well. - Rarely had issues with pests - saw a roach only once which was probably tracked inside by myself. Otherwise some silverfish here and there which were probably from the new cabinets.

Cons

- Never heard my direct neighbors on the same floor unless they were having a loud party. Ceilings are kind of thin so would often hear the upstairs unit's dog. - If your unit faces north at a lower level, you'll get very little natural light year round. - These condo's are often under construction so you will likely hear construction noise during business hours even on Saturdays. If they're working directly above your unit, it's so loud you will barely be able to hear yourself talk. - Super is lazy to fix cosmetic damages (have had outstanding water damage from above floor construction that never got addressed)... they will prioritize critical issues (heat/water/air) and sometimes may even need to get condo owner involved. - Sometimes water lines will be shut off for maintenance without advance notice.

Need a more attentive super who doesn't make excuses

Love and hate

Pros

Doorman. Great heat and water pressure. Laundry room in the building.

Cons

Poor cleanliness in laundry room. The elevator stops on ground floor all the time regardless if the button is pressed or not.

Advice to the owners

Great property owner. Very responsive. Attend immediate needs.
