Reasonable and affordable building with some wear

Pros

The older design of the building has been nicely preserved. Someone takes great care of the grounds regularly - cleaning ice and snow from the stairs and sidewalk early in the morning when needed, mopping common area floors. My unit has a good amount of light coming in. The location is really nice - just a couple blocks away from an A express stop and several other lines. People are very kind and it's a family-friendly neighborhood.

Cons

Walls are a bit thin; I can clearly hear neighbors in an adjacent unit. There is a bit more noise on Audobon Ave than 170th. I'm only living here short-term over the winter and have seen a couple small roaches. The floor of the unit is uneven and cracked in some places. Packages sometimes get stolen.

The current super is WONDERFUL

Cons

There are roaches in the common areas which has led to an infestation in my apartment. There are also plumbing issues. The drains in my apartment have filled and flooded my bathroom and kitchen multiple times. To be clear, the water would come from the tub, sink and toilet drains, not the faucets and typically when I wasnt home.
