New Renovations. Some good, some not

Pros

Great location. Nice quiet building.

Cons

Money hungry landlords (past and present) renovated this classically older building and made it look more 'modern'. The units themselves all got smaller due to squeezing in an extra bedroom, adding a faux fireplace, and new appliances. Not all changes are positive, but some are including new mailboxes and security cameras. Management is less personal now, so complaints feel like they might disappear into the void.

Advice to the owners

Care about the people. Not just the money.

It is fair

Pros

Elevator, location, quiet, outdoor common space

Cons

Only one washer and dryer that broker and wasn’t fixed for a while, the basement where the trash and laundry are were gross and smelly
