Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback regarding buildings managed by Moshe Singer reveals significant management issues across multiple Brooklyn properties. Cleanliness and garbage management are consistently rated poorly, with numerous reports of plumbing disasters, structural damages, and pest infestations including cockroaches, squirrels, and mice. Heating and water pressure are often unreliable. Many tenants express frustration over extremely slow or unresponsive management, citing ignored repair requests and neglect of serious safety concerns like missing smoke alarms. Though some appreciate the neighborhood and neighboring tenants, the overwhelming consensus advises against renting due to poor maintenance and respect for tenants. Improvements in responsiveness and building upkeep are urgently needed.

Unbelievable management, hellish conditions

Pros

Neighbors are great, beautiful street, good bones in the apartment

Cons

This is run by one of the worst management companies I've come across in a decade of New York living. Active enormous leaks, ceiling caving in, filthy hallways, no hot water or kitchen electricity and none of it acknowledged. They do not respond to calls or emails, nor do they honor rent agreements—they've charged me as a faulty tenant for rent on account of my not paying double rent for the first month.

Love Hate Relationship

Pros

Beautiful roof, friendly neighbors, decently maintained apartments

Cons

Slow response from management, old appliances, garbage, hallway cleanliness

Advice to the owners

Clean the hallways and provide lights!
