Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by Eric Orlofsky reflect generally responsive and attentive management, with tenants appreciating timely maintenance and good communication. Many find the properties clean, well-kept, and featuring desirable amenities like high ceilings and rooftop access. However, some units suffer from pest issues, aging infrastructure, and occasional slow responses to repairs. Noise and neighborhood character vary, with certain locations near challenging areas impacting tenant comfort. While rent-stabilized buildings tend to be stable and fairly maintained, non-stabilized ones sometimes experience rent hikes and heating inconsistencies. Overall, renters can expect responsive management but should be aware of specific building conditions and neighborhood factors.

Rent-stabilized apartment Very Satisfied

Pros

Property managers pretty responsive when we’ve had issues with appliances or other little things. They always give good notice when maintenance will be coming by. Everything is really taken care of consistently.

Cons

No elevator in the building

Great Building and good mgmt

Pros

The building itself is pretty much perfect. All the appliances work. Great light from all hours of the day. Mgmt is exceptional. Quick to respond and deal with issues even though we’ve had very few.

Cons

its a walk up. the basement floods with heavy rains. there's a halfway house across the street and a homeless shelter on the other side of the pulaski. so you can expect to see your fair share of characters.
