Residents have reported problems such as rodent infestations, lack of maintenance, and negative tenant-landlord relationships. Despite some positive aspects like spacious rooms and decent natural light, the overall consensus is negative due to the dirty environment, safety issues, and unaddressed complaints. Poor Management, slumlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
the neighbor are family
Cons:
lack of repairs, dirty building, neglected building, poor landlord and tenant relationship. super cant fix anything. Neglected Rodent infestation. mold
Advice to owner:
properly tend to the services needed by your tenants. Proper fix the repairs needed, not just cover it up with plaster and paint. listen to them..communicate with them. dont lie to them. make sure your tenants all live in a safe and inhabitable environment. Safe from air borne pathogens

Slum lords of NY
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great area, great community.
Cons:
Neglect to tend to repairs, super can't fix anything, negative relationship with tenants, filthy hallway, historic need replacement elevator..it's peachy when applying to get the apartment and they act all nice..then once u move in...if there is a problem then no one returns a call.. management is MIA...super can't speak English smh..
Advice to owner:
Karma is real man...things have a funny way of coming back to you in life...would you like for your family to live and be treated as such? Doubt you would...

Budget friendly but you get what you pay for
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious rooms and lots of natural light
Cons:
Lobby is extremely dirty, and apartment is prone to leaks. The super would patch the leaks without fixing the problem. There are also drug dealers that sell drugs inside and outside of the building. There have also been cases of bed bugs in different units.
Advice to owner:
Do some renovations to the lobby and elevator!

It’s Okay.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious apartments with decent room sizes.
Cons:
Not all units are renovated. Elevator stops working at least twice a week. Hallway, stairways, lobby, and outdoor space is rarely cleaned and ridden with trash. Building is affiliated with drug dealers who block entrances, walkways, and occasionally hallways. Packages and items (bikes, scooters, etc) are often stolen. Landlord is unresponsive to apartment issues. Super is unresponsive to apartment issues.
Advice to owner:
Advice your super and workers to clean the lobby, hallways, stairways, lobby, and outdoor space regularly. That includes sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, and washing the sidewalk. Update elevator system. You knowingly allow drug dealers to hang inside AND outside the apartment, this is a nuisance to all who live and pay rent here. They steal packages and draw negative attention.
