Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback for Steven Colon's buildings reveals a mix of strengths and challenges. Residents often praise the cleanliness, well-maintained common areas, and attentive superintendents, which contribute to a sense of safety and comfort. Positive notes also include convenient locations and thoughtful building amenities such as elevators and laundry facilities. However, management responsiveness varies, with some tenants experiencing delays or difficulty reaching the owner. Pest control and maintenance can be inconsistent, and some tenants raise concerns about perceived unfair fees and high rents without flexibility. Overall, while the buildings have solid physical upkeep, improvements in communication and tenant relations could enhance the rental experience.

I love it here!

Pros

Best super ever. Literally. Clean building. I feel safe! I love it here!

Cons

Good if subway proximity is your main goal

Pros

Right next to the subway, and the renovated kitchen and bathroom was very nice.

Cons

Small for the money despite being rent stabilized, way too many roaches, and everything outside the unit looked dingy.
