They take good care of the units here and are always address any issues within a day or 2.

Cons:

No washer/dryers or laundry in the building

Willfully endangered tenant health & safety

It's a place to live in a nice neighborhood.

Cons:

Zero proactive maintenance of high-issue items like cracked tile, chipped paint, heat not working or left on too late into the season. Deliberately lied about use of toxic chemicals and fumes in maintenance projects that sent tenants to the emergency room for chemical inhalation poisoning, withheld medically critical information regarding substance exposure pertinent to their treatment; lied about dust contamination in another unit that could've led to silicosis poisoning, displacing that resident for nearly two months. No apology or remedy sought from management. Avoid at all costs - these people are willing to risk your health and safety to get a shoddy job done and will lie through their teeth when the damage is done.

Advice to owner:

Therapy? Perhaps send out some apologies and settlements to those you've egregiously harmed?

Pros:

The building is a good location and the bedrooms are large.

Cons:

The management company was not worth the location. They have the worst maintenance company, A to Z, that are borderline incompetent in scheduling and anything that is considered maintenance. The management company was unresponsive, disrespectful, and was never able to actual fix any problems that arose in the units like heat, mice, or leaking water.

Prospect Heights Realty is Neglectful & Hazardous

Pros:

Pre-war charm & sunlight in common spaces

Cons:

Management would illegally enter and conduct maintenance projects without following any health & safety protocols, exposing tenants to dangerous particles and chemicals. Not responsive to routine maintenance requests.

Charming building, management leaves much to be desired

Pros:

Great neighbors; building is charming and feels homey. Rent payment + maintenance portal are easy to use.

Cons:

Management/maintenance is flaky unless you constantly remind/follow up with them to do what you need them to do. Building itself also not very clean - particularly the basement area.

Advice to owner:

Clean the hallways and basement more regularly.

-Very responsive mgmt
-Consistently clean
-Monthly pest check
-Great maintenance guys

Cons:

-Every once I awhile heat and hot water are subpar / not working but when alerted, maintenance always try to remedy

Great location, property owner responds promptly, neighbors are good, great size of apartment

Cons:

Do not have any cons! Had some cockroaches but property owner had an exterminator come over quickly and issue resolved
