Former Tenant
Pros:
Precinct across the street. Tenants are nice. Live in super is okay.
Cons:
46th precinct across the street doesn’t allow pedestrians and neighboring tenants to walk the sidewalk safely because they don’t know how to park correctly. Has to walk on street towards incoming traffic if trying to enter the building after getting out a cab, because officers have barricades that allows them to park illegally on sidewalk. Elevator doesn’t always work in the summer time, intercom doesn’t work for some of the apartments, it’s not a clean buildings. Rat, roach and fly infested, un-attentively managed. Oh, and the streets majority of the time have fecal matter. Many more problems with this building.
Advice to owner:
When Tenants call the landlords office to get a job done that by law you are required to fix have a better attitude towards them, they pay you every month to live in your buildings that are clearly badly taken care off. Invest in your property, making thousands of dollars a month from renting outdated, and patched work jobs on apartment.
