Good Overall (but with an*)
Pros
Super quiet building. Overall it's maintained/cleaned pretty well. The super is responsive (even if the property management company isn't). The neighbors keep to themselves but are mostly friendly. The apartments are a decent size as well.
Cons
Cockroaches, cockroaches, cockroaches! They have someone come regularly from pest control but the bugs have taken over the building. Even if you don't see any upon viewing the apartment, they are there- I assure you. Also, many of the apartments are rent stabilized so if you aren't in a stabilized unit, they will increase your rent quite a bit to make up for it. Street parking is free but hard to find.
Advice to the owners
Get your cockroach problem under control and stop driving up prices in free market apartments.
