Quiet and Clean Apt
Pros
- Relatively quiet (for Hells Kitchen) and safe location. The streets sometimes have some people lounging around but overall have never felt unsafe walking at any hour. Rarely hear my neighbors through the walls. - Common areas are clean - Never seen any cockroaches or rats. Sometimes flies in the basement where recycling and laundry is. - Overall enjoyed my time in this building and know of a few residents who have been here for multiple years
Cons
- No super in building (used to have one but he moved out half a year ago). The main management guy is pretty unresponsive unless you keep on emailing or escalate the emails. - Heat is slow to turn on over the winter and kept pretty low temperature. Would recommend getting an additional space heater. - Elevator occasionally goes out of service. They try to fix it as soon as possible but there is only 1 elevator.
