Cons
New ownership cares only about making money and has bad taste. They made a beautiful, elegant building dreary and tacky. They have partitioned all the spacious living rooms to add a small bedroom so as to rent as bigger and collect higher rent. They are in the process of forcing out all the tenents in order to renovate apartments with disregard for the noise, dust and inconvenience to those of us still living here. The elevators and hot water and frequently out of order.
Advice to the owners
I wouldn't bother as they are clearly disinterested.

The worst experience ever. Continuous and unpredictable hot water and heat interruptions throughout the winter, rigged thermostat and the heat never goes on until the outside temperature drops below 50F. Very hot in the apartment during the warm season. Basically their temperature control is out of control in the apartments and in the gym. The elevators are DISASTER. The management doesn’t care, they just want to flip this building. The turnover in the building is like revolving doors. The prices go up. The services go down. Do you’re a favour and stay away
