Awful management neglects tenant concerns

Pros

Apartment is nice, newly renovated, close to train and buses, monthly exterminator

Cons

Management does not reply to emails. Does not fix things when you ask them to. If something is seriously wrong with the apartment they will say there is nothing they can do or will say there is no problem. For example they said they couldn’t do anything about smoke from other apartments coming into our apartment even though they’re legally obligated to. Another example is poor electricity and when having electrical problems stated that we just needed to change the light bulbs when they had all been changed recently. Did not answer my roommates email the entire 2 years he lived there with me. Also the super does not know what he’s doing. He is extremely incompetent and does not fix anything. For example, we had our tiles redone in the kitchen at request of the landlord and he did it so poorly that all the grout was coming off a week after so we had no tile grout.

Pesky Pest problem

Pros

The management had timely communication.

Cons

The building is invested with roaches. Management does a monthly maintenance however, this barely helps the issue.
