Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by Eugene Zhitkov reveal a mixed experience for tenants. While some buildings boast clean, quiet environments with friendly neighbors and convenient locations, persistent issues with management responsiveness are common. Tenants frequently cite slow or absent owner communication, especially when problems arise, including pest infestations, garbage management failures, and maintenance delays such as heating troubles and leaks. Despite some well-maintained properties and helpful superintendents, renters often feel neglected and frustrated by management’s lack of timely action. Prospective tenants should expect dependable neighbors and decent amenities but be prepared for potential challenges in receiving prompt support from Eugene Zhitkov’s management.

Great studio in a great neighborhood

Pros

The building is quaint and full of studios, so very quiet if you are able to get a studio off the street and the tenants are young and nice. Very friendly and supportive atmosphere. The workers at the French cafe downstairs are nice and you get to smell them baking croissants in the morning

Cons

Abysmal absent management company. If nothing goes wrong with your apartment it’s fine, but if you need something from them, good luck

Advice to the owners
