It used to be good

Pros

The whole building is rent stabilized; large apartments

Cons

Super doesn't care; no routine maintenance is done and generally takes multiple complaints (e.g. mopping halls and stairs); lack of communication/zero communication from property management (e.g. we were supposed to have new intercom system installed last year and still waiting); heat sporadically stopped working for 2.5 weeks in December (yet miraculously started working the days the city came out to inspect); 3-4mo construction project turned into almost 3yrs with little to no communication. The mice problem has had us in fits for about a year - has it really been resolved or have we just not seen them because we got a cat? Almost every floor has had a unit with mice issues!

Advice to the owners

Get a super who cares about the cleanliness of the building + safety and security
