Cheap at the edge of Brooklyn
Pros
It was an affordable rent in the city, heat wasn't a problem in the winter.
Cons
The biggest problem is it was dirty. There were cockroaches in the garbage disposal area and they would come in the vents. Having cats helped, but we had to cover the vents.

lived here over 30 years, great building and a quiet neighborhood
Pros
well managed, clean well kept, quiet neighbors, had a great view
Cons
last few years many more children and their mothers would congregate in the front during the day, used the side entrance not a huge inconvenience just a noisy gossipy crew
