Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by Ray Wolber reveal a mix of opinions. Tenants appreciate the prime locations, spacious apartments, attractive architecture, and some amenities like gyms and bike storage. The management and superintendents receive praise when responsive and diligent, contributing to cleanliness and maintenance. However, many renters report ongoing issues with delayed or inadequate maintenance responses, persistent pest problems, frequent elevator outages, heating inconsistencies, and lack of support during emergencies. Several note high rent increases without corresponding improvements. Noise from nearby trains and construction also affects comfort. Overall, expect a solid building structure but potentially frustrating management responsiveness and maintenance oversight.

Pros

I like the location and the people in the building seem nice.

Cons

Maintenance is terrible at responding, my shower has been leaking for more than 4 weeks, put in maintenance request and haven't heard anything. Way to expensive for the space. No dishwasher. The elevator is always broken. We have lots of heat and hot water problems. We didn't have a laundry room or stove/oven for 6 months.

Advice to the owners

Just go ahead and sell the building to Columbia
