Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants of buildings managed by Samir Neljkovic appreciate the clean and well-maintained environment, along with attentive maintenance staff and a generally quiet, family-friendly atmosphere. The location near parks, transit, and local amenities is frequently praised. However, some drawbacks include occasional pest issues, older plumbing, and intermittent garbage overflow problems. Noise can be an issue due to thin floors, and some tenants note challenges with the co-op approval process and building access security. Responsiveness from unit owners varies, but the on-site super is generally seen as helpful. Overall, residents find the management reasonable, recommending the buildings while suggesting improvements in pest control and security.

Wonderful for families, long term living by the city

Pros

Great live in super in a co-op building. Responsive. Generally quiet with lots of families. Lots of space and great neighborhood. Plenty of laundry and building maintenance is on top of everything.

Cons

While walls are thick, floors are really thin. You can hear a lot. Depending on your neighbor, you’ll have to be very mindful of noise/group hangs. It’s an old building with old plumbing. You will get some bugs crawling around but there’s an exterminator you can sign up for biweekly. This is a co-op so you’re renting from a unit owner. My unit owner isn’t that responsive but will get you an answer to any questions.

Decent place but could be improved

Pros

Good location next to the park Affordable No noise coming from tenants within the building Friendly tenants with a community vibe

Cons

Co-op approval process Shady characters who didn't live in the apartment would hang out by the laundry room Garbage cans would often be overflowing Super is difficult to reach

Advice to the owners

Prevent outside people from accessing laundry room
