Good spot, but no amenities
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location. The apartment itself is cute. decorative fireplace.
Cons:
Even though the property is managed by a family, they still raised the rent 20% each year we lived here. No dishwasher, laundry, and little storage, and the neighbors have parties out back that are loud, and they don't even invite you to them.
Advice to owner:
I guess it's the name of the game, but constantly upping rent by that amount is predatory. We decided it's time to pay less somewhere else with laundry, trash and a dishwasher, and at least make an attempt at saving to purchase, instead of continuing to support your generational wealth.

Think long and hard before signing here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to Central Park
Cons:
Very poor noise insulation - you not only hear everything from neighboring units in the building itself but also from units in the attached buildings. Plumbing is really bad too. When you raise issues to the owner she becomes extremely defensive and combative. There is a ton of turnover in the building.
