Beware of 2D
Pros
Excellent super and spacious layouts.
Cons
The ceilings are extremely thin. They only have the original sub flooring on top of the wooden joist ceilings. I had the misfortune of being in the apartment (2D) below a young child and they would run around at all hours of the day, as early as 6am. The landlord did nothing to rectify the situation, said they would install carpets and other mitigations and never did. It was the worst apartment experience I’ve had in nyc. Further to this, they were planning to sell the apartment which they never told me when I signed the initial lease.
