Pros:
The best things about this building were the fact units were rent stabilized, most of the neighbors were friendly and cordial, never had any issues with hot water or heating.
Cons:
The owners took forever to respond to maintenance requests and would never actually fix the issue, definition of “landlord special”, had issues with paint peeling/chipping, radiators leaking so bad it caused the laminate floor to warp. There were pungent smells coming from the deli food storage underneath the building.

super is awful

Pros:
It’s on a major bus line and 2 blocks from an L train stop.
Cons:
The super who works for the management company is an unlicensed moron. he doesn’t even know how to use a measuring tape. He only half-fixes things. When he paints the hallway, he might as well do it with a blindfold on.
Advice to owner:
Get a new super.
