Amazing neighbors, horrible building

Pros:
Neighbors were always friendly and helpful. Laundry and great bodegas nearby. The location to the J and plenty of bus options is really great, only about 5 min walk. Within 15-20min walk to good coffee shops and grocery stores
Cons:
Everything about the building itself and the way it is handled by management. We have had constant leaks in the apartment since a little over moving in that have never been properly fixed, even after multiple tickets and calls put in. There is barely any sound proofing at all so both rooms are incredibly loud from the street traffic (front room) and neighbors (back room).

Pros:
Hardwood floors, exposed brick, neighbors are all really nice. It’s in a central area a block away from the J.
Cons:
Management is NOT responsive. They take weeks to respond to any genuine repairs that need to be made. Building has massive ongoing leaking problems in several units that management refuses to take care of. They send third party contractors who are uninformed of the issue to repair anything, don’t respond to problems for weeks, ignore ongoing issues, and refuse to spend the time and money to make actual repairs. I do not recommend living here unless management makes some serious changes.
Advice to owner:
They need to make an actual assessment of the building and work on genuinely repairing the problem, not patching it and hoping for the best.
