Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants under Edward Zylka note generally responsive and mostly hands-off management, with prompt deposit returns and decent heating. Residents appreciate quiet, well-pressured water, and friendly neighbors. However, common issues include insufficient hallway cleanliness and poor garbage management, with some hallways described as unclean or needing repainting. Pest control is inconsistent, and flooding problems with slow repairs have been reported, leading to tenant dissatisfaction. While many approve of the landlord and recommend staying, concerns about maintenance delays and building upkeep suggest scope for improvement in infrastructure and environmental management to ensure a better tenant experience.

Good apartment overall

Pros

1R has 2 floors and a backyard, landlords were fairly responsive and mostly hands off. Received full deposit back after moving, lived there 5 years.

Cons

The hallways are kind of gross, there’s not much in the neighborhood

Advice to the owners

Repaint the hallway
