This was one of the worst renting experiences I’ve had. The landlord treated the apartment like his personal workshop and showed up almost every weekend (and sometimes during the week) from morning until late afternoon to “install” floors, build/extend things, or do other work. Even though rent was paid on time, there was no need for work to be done we had no privacy and no real ability to use our own space. He also lives near Belmont Park and seemed to have nothing better to do than constantly come by, look around, and insert himself.
