Review Summary for Kaito Management Corp
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant feedback for KAITO MANAGEMENT CORP properties reveals a generally responsive and approachable management team, praised for timely handling of repairs and maintenance issues. Buildings are often described as clean with well-managed garbage services and strong water pressure. However, renters frequently encounter noise concerns due to poor sound insulation and thin walls. Pest control seems inconsistent, with reports of mice, roaches, and occasional bedbugs, although some effort is made to address these problems. Heating efficiency and utility costs are points of dissatisfaction in some buildings. Overall, expect competent management but consider potential noise and pest challenges.

Paper thin walls
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is mostly quiet unless you have noisy neighbors. Building is well maintained and I never had a package stolen.
Cons:
Walls are absolutely paper thin, and I mean paper. Each unit is a studio and mirrored to your neighbors interior, so your bed is directly opposite your neighbors bed. You can imagine the noises.
Advice to owner:
Sound proofing material although it hasn’t helped me much

Well maintained pre-war building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Decently maintained pre-war building. Super lives next door and is very friendly. Owners at the time were very responsive with any issues or repairs. They hired a management company around the time I was moving out.
Cons:
Had some issues with mice and when they were renovating ground floor apartments but it’s expected and they had an exterminator come who also did regular quarterly visits.
Advice to owner:

The utilities are outrageous
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is clean ish- and the management company does have someone take care of the trash. Balconies on each apartment are nice outdoor space.
Cons:
The utilities are outrageous. We were spending $300 a month. The windows / walls are not well insulated so ac or heat just goes in and out. Even after putting plastic on the windows it did nothing.

Slight roach problem but sticky traps solved that.
Advice to owner:
The management company tries but ultimately doesn’t care

Nice neighborhood old building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lovely area, quiet street. Apartments are well kept nice views on the roof
Cons:
Tenants had bedbugs twice in the year that I lived there.
