Nightmare Experience, Avoid this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Sweet neighbors, close to the train
Cons:
HORRIFYING smell in the lobby, first and last thing you notice every single day, guests notice, it's truly impossible to ignore.
CONSTANT pests and cockroaches despite exterminators.
A musty smell within apartment which is hard to get rid of.
Major issues with the super and conflict within management.
It is clear that the building is not cared for by owners, making it very hard to make it remotely feel like a home.
Advice to owner:
CARE! If you wouldn't live in these conditions yourself, don't ignore tenant's complaints and issues.

Gorgeous spacious apartments w/ sadly bad maintenance and management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Where else can you find apartments that are reasonably sized in Brooklyn? This location is perfect. A 5 minute walk to Prospect Park. Updated appliances. Recently renovated unit. Kind neighbours - for the most part. Close to Courtelyou and Ditmas Park magic.
Cons:
Non-existent building management with super shady slumlord-Esque practices. We got bedbugs from a neighbouring tenant, the building proved this, and we got zero zero zero financial reimbursement for the treatments we had to pay for. Plus deep emotional pain. We also had lots of roaches that the building never solved the problem of. The elevator was dangerous and frequently shut down and trapped us in it. Our super was always high and hard to reach when things broke…like water flooding our bathroom from an upstairs unit. We once had a drunk on our floor leave his gas on and so we all had to evacuate for a whole day and the building barely issued a statement. On top of it all, when covid happened, they placed not hand sanitizer but soap dispensers in the lobby hahahaha and told us it was the same thing.
Advice to owner:
Be less of a slum lord?
