Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Andrew Levison reveals mixed experiences. Positive notes include quiet apartments, respectful neighbors, convenient locations, and spacious layouts with rooftop access. Several residents appreciate the responsive management in certain instances. However, consistent concerns arise over pest infestations like cockroaches, mosquitoes, and rodents, with complaints about ineffective pest control and cleanliness issues, especially in common areas. Heat regulation and maintenance responsiveness often fall short, with incidents like leaking appliances and mold being reported. Some tenants criticize a lack of proactive management, particularly the superintendent's attitude and insufficient cleaning, impacting overall tenant satisfaction and building upkeep.

decent building, pests

Pros

Quiet, nice neighbors

Cons

Dirty, cockroaches are common in the common areas and in the units, super is quite rude

Former tenant·Over 1 year ago

rent if you want to be scammed

Pros

good location, but thats really it.

Cons

My apartment sucks. It's overpriced and tiny. There's no heat in the bedroom, only in the living room, which makes the place impossible to regulate in the winter. Even then, the living room has no lights, so you either have to buy lamps or live in semi-darkness. The fridge leaks constantly, and the buzzer? It doesn’t even work, so good luck knowing when your deliveries arrive. The shower is a mold breeding ground, and despite regular cleaning, it never really goes away. The bathroom has been flooded multiple times, with water seeping everywhere. Once, the dishwasher was unhooked for two weeks and leaked so badly that we had to lay down towels to keep it from spreading even more. It’s a nightmare, and yet somehow, I’m paying way more than this place is worth.
