Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback on buildings managed by Ken Saperstein indicates a generally friendly, family-oriented environment with helpful doormen and a strong sense of community. Many appreciate the responsiveness of management and maintenance, especially concerning pests and building cleanliness. However, pest control is inconsistent, with some periods of significant infestation reported. Some common areas like laundry rooms and gyms need updates and better upkeep. Complaints about certain staff behavior and occasional unresponsiveness from the rental company highlight areas for improvement. Overall, residents value the rent-stabilized units and neighborhood convenience but suggest enhanced pest management and staff professionalism would greatly improve tenant experience.

Great building, friendly staff

Pros

Great apartments, staff is friendly and helpful, responsive maintenance and pest control (some years better than others). Highly recommend

Cons

Building mostly stays on top of cockroach extermination, but occasionally exterminator has been a no show and infestations would get bad in those times
