Convenient location in mid-town
Cons
Worst landlord/mgt company. They do not respond to calls and messages. Had an infestation in my place and had to hire pest control to come over after several of trying to reach my landlord. There have been repeated instances of needed repairs or maintenance and landlord will not respond, or will refuse to help. I've had to deal with all these issues by myself.
Homeless, Liter at Entrance
Pros
Never saw a rodent, but extremely rare instances of small roaches within unit (a handful in 7 years), and rare instances of dead water bugs outside of unit, in halls.
Cons
Frequent homeless loitering, litter and messes found on building entrance. Not rent stabilized, Landlord raises rent every lease renewal without missing a beat.
Advice to the owners
It’s a busy commercial street, restaurants, cigar shop, GNC, etc., across from Port Authority and NY Times building, so tons of foot traffic and life, but also homeless and general riffraff.
