Pros
It was an extremely large space with tons of storage and walk in costs. Parking on street was decent and manageable. The neighborhood is really residential and is ok about noise.
Cons
The landlord never fixed anything. Would not fix air conditioning, plumbing was falling apart across the showers and toilets, tiling from 1950s was upended on the floor and would not repair. The entire unit was on the verge of falling apart and was super dated and antiquated in every way possible. The storage space is not worth it if you have to try to constantly fix problems to live your life. The landlords are so absent and don't care at all as long as they get a rent check each month. They were going to rent out the apartment as soon as we moved out and were not going to assess the unit to make renovations.
Advice to the owners
Renovations are needed. Especially massive renovations to the bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms, and all the flooring.
