Old school NY building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very quiet, residential street. Renovated apartments are nice. Super is helpful and lives in the building. Landlord is very reasonable.
Cons:
Issues receiving deliveries and packages getting stolen. Water pressure is subpar and hot water can take a while to heat up. Minor pest issues. Garbage & laundry located downstairs can get a little untidy. The entrance, elevator and hallway could use a facelift.
Advice to owner:
Update to virtual doorman to increase security and make delivering packages easier. Upgrade water pressure / hot water.

HORRIBLE landlord but nice location
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is really really great as are everyone else that works in the building. The location is great with the F/M and L trains on the corner and the ACE and 123 lines less than 10 min walk away.
Cons:
The landlord responsible for my apartment (Ari) was incredibly offensive, disrespectful and inappropriate towards me whenever I called him regarding security deposit, moving out, rent increase, roaches or any other apartment concern. He spoke to me terribly condescendingly and was horribly patronizing and rude. He blamed me for his own mistakes as a landlord and told me what I should and shouldn’t do or say as if he were my father… I DO NOT recommend living in this building for the lack of respect you will receive as a tenant even if you pay your rent on time, etc. It’s also difficult to reach Ari or the management office in the first place and they are very disorganized. Also lots of roaches :/
Advice to owner:
Treat others with respect
