Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Reviews for buildings managed by Camelot Property Management indicate a mix of experiences among tenants. Many appreciate the cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, with particularly high praise for responsive superintendents and good location. However, recurring issues with pest control and management responsiveness raise concerns among renters. Some tenants report troubling incidents with maintenance delays and unaddressed pest problems that detract from their living experience. While several reviews recommend the buildings due to their convenience and community feel, the management's handling of complaints and repairs signifies an area needing improvement.

pest issues, slow management

Pros

in this location, the space is great. however since we moved out the rent has increased so much

Cons

we had issues with mice for the first year and it wasn’t resolved until we taped the radiator covers shut ourselves had issues with roaches until the day we moved out, idk if i would consider an infestation but they were definitely around there was a nightmarish situation with a leak from an above neighbor that in itself was understandable but was handled very poorly by the management — water being shut off for multiple weeks without telling us, when they came to fix it they prioritized the schedule of the deli on the first floor over our schedule and would work on it at night time until 1 in the morning. the cherry on top was that when we asked to be compensated because we couldn’t use our kitchen for weeks they asked for nickle and dimed us, asking for every receipt of takeout we ate during that time bc they didn’t believe the ordeal increased our living expenses. the leak was also due to an improper finish that they did when remodeling the apartment god knows how long ago, so it was actually their fault for cutting corners.

Advice to the owners

increasing the rent while ignoring so many of the issues in the building is really greedy and i would’ve loved to stay here longer but it was too hard to justify with how many issues there were
