Good Apartment, Bad Location
Pros
The super here is amazing and so responsive. We never had to worry about pests of any kind, and any issue would be addressed very quickly. The building is well maintained.
Cons
The heating situation here is very odd. The largest bedroom in our apartment had no heating or cooling, and the kitchen and living area has no heating or cooling. The PTAC units are only located in two of the bedrooms, so we had to use a space heater in the winter for the living room and one of the bedrooms because there wasn’t adequate heating.
Advice to the owners
Upgrade the heating system since it is outdated and not very functional. This was a huge dealbreaker in deciding not to renew our lease. The bathrooms could also use exhaust fans. Hold onto your super, he is amazing.
