Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Frank Raggi reflects well-maintained, clean properties with attentive and kind staff, particularly praised are the doormen and overall building management. Renters value spacious apartments and favorable locations. However, some express concerns over slow responsiveness to upgrade requests and conservative approaches to renovations, especially in aging units where finishes and appliances could be improved to match rent increases. Noise levels vary, but neighbors are generally friendly. Tenants appreciate good garbage management, pest control, and water pressure. Overall, management maintains a solid standard but could enhance tenant satisfaction by prioritizing unit upgrades and accommodating tenant needs more proactively.

Amazing experience for 3 years!

Pros

Huge apartments for low price. For an old building was very clean and well run.

Cons

Doormen were half great half ok

Great place to live

Pros

Very kind and attentive staff.

Cons

Though we are paying close to market value after living here for 6 + years, management is reluctant to upgrade appliances, cabinets, and finishes. Considering the substantial rent increases with each lease renewal, upgrades should align with the standard of new units within the building. Management has a narrow scope of what is considered an “essential” repair.

Advice to the owners

Take care of your existing long-term tenants by upgrading kitchen and bathroom finishes every few years.
