Old Alphabet City Building with Many Quarks
Pros
Most tenants have lived there for years and are friendly/keep to themselves, trash is always taken care of by a tenant in building, decent space for NYC living
Cons
Very old building with lots of issues (hot water not always working in the winter, leaks via radiators, older staircase, etc.), it’s very difficult to get in touch with the landlord if you’re facing an issue, and even more difficult to get them to take care of any issues (i.e. months), and although there is a tenant who will take care of trash weekly and sweep/mop floors every once in a while, the building is very dirty and not taken care of to what it should be.
