Love the Lara
Pros
Great staff, great location, spacious apartments. Easy access to seaport, battery park city, and close to nearly all the subway lines and Fulton center/ path. Very central location. The staff is helpful and friendly. The layouts of the apartments make the most of square footage.
Cons
I love the Lara and have no cons to share because it’s been a wonderful home to my family. The building is pet and kid friendly. The super and staff attend to maintenance issues right away and are super friendly to my young kids. The layouts of the apartments are awesome compared to others I’ve seen in FiDi (the master bedroom in a 2 bedroom apt includes 2 big closets in a addition to a bathroom which I’ve found to be rare in other apartments in this area).
Nice Apartment/Responsive Management
Pros
The building is kept up well and anytime I’ve had to submit a work order, it’s been fixed within a day. Quiet building with doorman/elevator/mail room. Laundry in house. Rent stabilized. Small gym. Great rooftop. Coffee bar is kept in working order.
Cons
Only two elevators, so you can wait for a little bit. No moving dock for movers.
