Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants of LABE TWERSKI-managed buildings report well-maintained lobbies and generally quiet, friendly neighbors. However, chronic issues with heating, elevator reliability, and pest control frequently disrupt living conditions. Management responsiveness is predominantly criticized as slow or indifferent, with several complaints about withheld deposits and delays in addressing major repairs like laundry room closures and water interruptions. Garbage management and cleanliness vary but tend to meet basic expectations. Residents advise better communication and prompt problem resolution, emphasizing the need for management to be more attentive to tenant concerns to improve the overall living experience in these properties.

Management company grabbed my deposit money

Pros

The lobby is well maintained. The plants in the hallways of each stair adds color to the building. Flights of stairs are very short.

Cons

The elevator is haunted and will skip certain floors randomly. The stairs are very steep. The management company delayed 3 weeks over, then falsely accused us of damaging the hallway and elevator with no proof. They withheld our entire security deposit showing no evidence of the cost of the "damage".

Poor Heat & Dangerous Elevator

Pros

Location and quiet building.

Cons

Poor heat, you will be cold most of winter. The super means well but he will tell you the heat and hot water are controlled by central. The elevator sucks, people get stuck in it all the time. The management is horrible. They don’t care. And good luck getting your deposit back, they lied to me that I would get mine back.

Advice to the owners
