Reviews

Former tenant·10 minutes ago

can't wait to move!

Pros

When the doors in the lobby were locked and we had security

Cons

Super is cheap, doesn't like to send workers to fix things in the apartments, the elevator is always broken, there's rats running around in the ceiling of the lobby, cameras dont work, there's rats running lobby doors dont lock, people smoking weed in the lobby, inconsiderate neighbors, rent is too high for bad living conditions

Advice to the owners

The building needs new management that actually cares about their tenants and the building

Former tenant·Over 1 year ago

Ridiculous management practices

Pros

Location, heat, balcony

Cons

They fired the security company and intercom has been broken so people leave the door open in the lobby so when you wake up to go to work you find people sleeping in the hallways, getting high in the staircases and trash all over. The elevators are always broken there should be 2 but one is always dead and the other is periodically broken, hope you like to walk up stairs. People leave trash in front of of their doors cause they are too lazy to bring it down or use the incinerator and if they do walk to the incinerator they just leave the bags of garbage in the closet instead of putting it in the shoot. Then they complain that they have roaches and mice. Management just raised the people that works rent an additional $900 a month. That’s right nine hundred. All my neighbors are moving including myself. Who wants to live in an unsecured rodent and roach infested apartment?

Advice to the owners

Become rent stabilized and take care of your tenants, you had a lot of good ones that are leaving, if your intention was to get rid of the working families you succeeded and if your trying to turn the roach motel into co-ops good luck.
