Review Summary for Rifati LLC
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by RIFATI LLC suggest mixed experiences. Residents appreciate spacious apartments and convenient locations near public transportation. However, many complaints arise regarding pest infestations, particularly with roaches, and poor management responsiveness to maintenance issues. The cleanliness and garbage management are inconsistent across properties. Suggestions include addressing pest problems, improving overall building maintenance, and enhancing management communication. While some tenants approve of the owner, others express disappointment in the lack of support during challenging times. Overall, there is room for improvement in building conditions and tenant-owner relationships.

Rent Controlled but not Ideal
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent Controlled
Near public transportation
Relatively quiet
Cons:
Heat doesn’t work.
Laundry room is dirty and machines don’t work.
Although there is a monthly visit by exterminator, there is definitely a roach and rodent issue.
Parking can be difficult to find. The garage beneath the building os extremely expensive. About $275 monthly
Advice to owner:
Please fix the laundry room and radiator issue. Increase the cleanliness of the building.

A Rotten apple
Former Tenant

Cons:
Roaches uncontrollable, no help from management. Area is Rat infested as well. Wouldn’t advise anyone to move here. Dirty stairwells, dog poop always in front of building.

Horrible landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quite neighbors
Cons:
Roaches everywhere, Management neglects the people who live in the building. They do not maintain upgrades or maintenance on the building or for tenants. They tried to forced you out of the building during a pandemic and do not give you any other options. The super of the building always has an attitude and very unhappy and rude.
Advice to owner:
Get a new super. Instead of forcing people out during a pandemic for in paid rent because they lost their job try to find ways to help. Fix the roach and rat problems. Maintain and do upgrades in all apartments in this building specially the people who have been living there for years.
