Worth The 3 Years!
Pros
-Pretty on-target rent for an area that’s starting to get more expensive. -Owners are fairly responsive and replaced our broken dishwasher when we moved in within 48 hours with a brand new one. -Nice and quiet building. -Incredible shower situation. We’re on our 3rd year here and barely any complaints.
Cons
-Recurring ant problem that we solved ourselves with traps, but annoying that they came back twice. -Cracks starting to show in the structure: Stress cracks around the columns by our kitchen/living room. Stairs to building not maintained and a chunk is missing and hasn’t been fixed. -Not horrible rent increases, but no real value added to living here despite them. -Just being picky: Water pressure isn’t quite enough to use the nice shower to its full capabilities.
Advice to the owners
Do some much needed upkeep on the building as the facade of the renovations aren’t keeping up with the big problems.
