Take the good with the bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is in the heart of LES. Spacious units with plenty of natural light. Responsive management company. Friendly and helpful super. Nice built in bookshelves
Cons:
Location comes with tons of noise. Pests were in and out but management was quick with response. Leaks from strong rain happen on occasion. No microwave
Advice to owner:
Add microwaves

Mediocre Building at best
Former Tenant
Pros:
The roof access is nice, as is proximity to train. Unit size isn't terribly cramped
Cons:
You can hear water running through the pipes when it rains and noise from neighbors through the vents. The D energy rating is accurate and the AC units are terrible. The super is on semi-responsive and package theft is frequent. Neighborhood feels more seedy, so I wish the building security was better. Laundry units don't really work well (especially the dryers). and the Noise is unreal, the windows are paper thin at best.
Advice to owner:
get thicker glass for the windows, replace the AC units, get better closet doors.

Good location, pest issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighborhood is great, elevator building, built-in AC
Cons:
Pest (both cockroaches and mice) issues, monthly extermination didn't seem to help much and continued to see regular pests

Pros:
The apartment has floor to ceiling windows and heat is included
Cons:
It always smells of weed in the corridors and right outside the building there’s a huge number of homeless people
