Cons

I have been living here since October 2024 and there has been an ongoing issue with mice and roaches that has never been properly addressed. The mice run across both my bed and my daughter’s bed and even come through the apartment door. Even when you think they are gone more appear. There are roach eggs between the cabinets, mouse droppings behind the stove, and mice behind the refrigerator. I reported this in 2025 and it is now 2026 and nothing has been done. The super told me that everyone has them instead of fixing the issue. I have severe persistent asthma along with a history of stroke and multiple intubations and I am medically advised to avoid exposure to mice and roaches. Despite explaining this no real action has been taken. The apartment is also falling apart. Shower tiles come off the wall, floor tiles broken and super tries to charge for everything, there are cracks in the doorways, doorknobs come loose, and the cabinets are broken, old, and sticky as if they have not been properly replaced or cleaned in countless years. This is not a safe or habitable living environment and it has affected my health and safety. I am low income and have had difficulty relocating but if I could leave I would immediately.

Advice to the owners

Address infestations immediately with proper extermination and seal all entry points. Make necessary repairs and ensure apartments are safe and habitable before renting them out.
