Beware of Slumlord

Building facade is pretty (although much dirtier than any other building on the block)
Cons
Landlord is a slumlord and cuts every corner to save a dime. Expect your heat to turn off for days in the winter. Expect the landlord to try to ask you to split the cost of basic repairs. The neighbors will hate you because the building doesn’t take care of the trash.

Not shared electricity in common areas. Zero garbage maintenance. Horrific rodent problem. Lack of management responsiveness. Lack of heat. Lack of hot water. Lack of water capacity. Horrific maintenances. Lack of central AC power (only a few areas of the apartment has ventilation). No mailbox security.
