Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by Daniel Levie reveal mixed experiences. Many residents commend the helpful doormen and robust garbage management, alongside excellent water pressure and low noise levels. However, significant concerns arise regarding management's responsiveness and the frequent, steep rent increases which have led to dissatisfaction among tenants. Issues with cleanliness and pest control, particularly in shared spaces, have been noted, along with reports of unprofessional behavior from some staff members. Prospective renters should be prepared for potential management challenges while appreciating the desirable locations of these buildings.

Reviews

Former tenant·just now

Great apartments , cheap repairs & high rent increase every lease

Pros

Very nice and helpful doormen. Packages are always secured . Low noise levels

Cons

After every lease is done, rent is raised by $200-$300/month. Bathroom paint is done with cheap paint where they have to fix it every 2-3 months. Repairs are completed but damaged again within a few months. The basement has a lot of dead and live roaches which is where the bike room, gym, and laundry are.

Advice to the owners

Please don’t raise rent drastically every year, clean out basement and bike room of roaches.
