Great building, awful management

Pros

Great neighbors, beautiful space!

Cons

Management slow to respond and unbelievably disorganized We've had cockroach issues but management sprayed whenever we asked them to

Advice to the owners

Improve system of responding to tenants

Not Worth It

Pros

Great location and great size of apartment for price. Neighbors are quiet and polite, love the neighborhood so much.

Cons

Fairstead Management does not care about its renters. No matter your maintenance request, they will take forever to reply and even longer to fix the issue. Our oven was leaking gas when we moved in, and they didn’t even care. One of our bedrooms does not have heat, and even after practically begging them to fix it, we still did not get even an apology. There were roaches when we moved in, and the tile in the kitchen was cracked. The dryer did not work. The smoke alarms didn’t have batteries. The apartment was not clean. Management is so difficult, which is so unfortunate because we love our neighborhood and the apartment itself.

Advice to the owners

Care about your tenants.
