Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant feedback for buildings managed by Tom Rosenberg reveals a mixed management experience. While some rent-stabilized properties like 900 Hart Street offer good sound insulation, hardwood floors, and a generally decent living environment with responsive maintenance, other reviews highlight serious issues such as poor responsiveness to repair requests, pest infestations, mold, and safety concerns. Cleanliness and garbage management vary widely across buildings. Noise levels can be problematic in street-facing units. Management is often criticized for negligence and slow maintenance, leading to calls for better tenant communication and prompt resolution of health and safety violations. Prospective renters should weigh these factors carefully.

Reviews

Former tenant·5 minutes ago

Do not rent unresponsive property manager.

Pros

Good location and good neighbors.

Cons

We have lived there at this point for about 15 weeks. 10 of those we did not have a working fridge as the property manager and super would not respond.

Former tenant·9 minutes ago

Decent place, rent stabilized

Pros

Been here for three years. Well built. Bedrooms decently block sound so you’re not always hearing roommates. Exposed brick, hardwood floors.

Cons

Our apartment is street facing so there is a decent amount of street noise

Advice to the owners
