- Backfacing units were shockingly (c) openigloo quiet on such a busy (c) openigloo street - Backfacing units are up (c) openigloo against no buildings so amazing (c) openigloo natural light and big windows, (c) openigloo fire escape is really pleasant (c) openigloo in the summer - Tall ceilings - (c) openigloo Great subway access - Great takeout (c) openigloo food access
Cons:
- Issues with pests - Insanely (c) openigloo loud heat pipe (even for (c) openigloo heat pipes) - Always a scene (c) openigloo right outside, like even to (c) openigloo take your trash out you'd (c) openigloo usually need to pass by (c) openigloo a few people on the (c) openigloo stoop and then cut through (c) openigloo the line to the bar (c) openigloo downstairs before discarding the trash (c) openigloo right next to the bar's (c) openigloo door.
Advice to owner:
fix the heat pipe somehow

Close to most subways, laundry (c) openigloo downstairs has super nice ladies
Cons:
Management was awful! Trash never (c) openigloo got taken out, our super (c) openigloo never responded and stole packages, (c) openigloo and we had a rat (c) openigloo or pest problem almost every (c) openigloo month

You should be ashamed of yourselves!!

Pros:
Most of the tenants are (c) openigloo kind, pleasant and quiet. The building (c) openigloo location is nicely situated.
Cons:
Upstairs neighbors that shout, drop (c) openigloo things, have running children, fight, (c) openigloo cause leaks. Bug infestations (roaches, waterbugs, (c) openigloo plaster beetles) and no care (c) openigloo to solving the issues. Leaks are (c) openigloo responded to by painting over (c) openigloo the damage. The front door was (c) openigloo left broken and unlocked for (c) openigloo months. Garbage in the back is (c) openigloo left improperly handed, rats getting (c) openigloo at it daily. Hallways unmaintained, dirty (c) openigloo and trashed. Issues to management take (c) openigloo weeks, if not months for (c) openigloo any kind of response and (c) openigloo handling -- usually at the (c) openigloo barest level of resolution.
Advice to owner:
Be an active, positive force for your building. Maintain it, repair damage proactively and in a timely manner. Handle bad tenants.

Pros:
It was a very cute (c) openigloo place, nice, good air quality (c) openigloo (you could leave your windows (c) openigloo open and not get tons (c) openigloo of dust, good air pressure; (c) openigloo presar building). If you attend (c) openigloo FIT, it’s obviously super convenient (c) openigloo location and I loved being (c) openigloo able to run back to (c) openigloo my place between or even (c) openigloo during classes lol. Good closet (c) openigloo space, fire escape you can (c) openigloo get out the window to (c) openigloo easily. Gets hot as fresh (c) openigloo hell in the winter when (c) openigloo the heaters turn on which (c) openigloo you don’t pay for, but (c) openigloo I actually liked that because (c) openigloo I left the windows cracked (c) openigloo in the middle of winter (c) openigloo and got fresh air. Friendly (c) openigloo super, but rarely needed. Again: biggest (c) openigloo pro is definitely being an (c) openigloo FIT student, it’s just super (c) openigloo convenient. Good little college place, (c) openigloo good for being fresh out (c) openigloo of the dorms.

We moved out because they (c) openigloo wouldn’t negotiate rent during Covid (c) openigloo when it was overpriced, and (c) openigloo I think it remained overpriced. (c) openigloo Dealing with management was always (c) openigloo awful, although thankfully we only (c) openigloo had to a few times. (c) openigloo Packages were stolen regularly, and (c) openigloo there was some crime in (c) openigloo the building, someone even breaking (c) openigloo a first floor apartments door (c) openigloo knob off. Super sleazy (c) openigloo broker and big brokers fee (c) openigloo though, and super shady lease (c) openigloo although didn’t find out until (c) openigloo after the fact lol.
Advice to owner:
Skip the broker! And find better management.

The heat runs most of (c) openigloo the winter really well (it (c) openigloo can get really hot).
Cons:
Where do I start? Roaches, (c) openigloo mice, overflowing trash, packages stolen, (c) openigloo loud neighbor. Rent increases with (c) openigloo all of the listed above.
It's not the worst, but you could probably find a better apartment

-very conveniently located -water pressure was (c) openigloo fine -maintenance most of the time, (c) openigloo is very quick

-MICE -heat is turned on at (c) openigloo weird times -there are a lot (c) openigloo of short term rentals

Maybe deal with the mice and short term rentals...

Mice, heat pipe banged (sounded (c) openigloo like a wrench being hit (c) openigloo on metal) 5 to 6 (c) openigloo times a night waking us (c) openigloo up, heat piped also went (c) openigloo off during the day making (c) openigloo it hard to work from (c) openigloo home, outdated kitchen, packages stolen, (c) openigloo management unresponsive, apartment filthy on (c) openigloo move-in and never felt very (c) openigloo clean despite our best efforts

Please fix the heat pipe and get a professional cleaner to deep clean the place!
